After two turbulent years of quarantine, Malaysians are ready to have a joyous Christmas again, emerging from our isolation to reconnect with each other. What better way to celebrate the season than to watch a musical with your loved ones?
This Christmas, from the 10th to 11th December, Saturday and Sunday, Calvary Church Kuala Lumpur invites you, your loved ones and friends to experience a musical that exudes the Christmas delight. It’s truly the season to be joyful!
Based loosely on ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, this musical centres around a cold-hearted, miserly man named Bill who is revolted by the very idea of Christmas. One day, a character named Christina shows him the true reason for the season and how he can experience the joy of Christmas. Soon, Bill realizes that the holidays are all about love, friendship, and kindness. Throughout the musical, the once-gloomy miser can be seen transforming into a hope-filled and generous person, reigniting his love for people and for Christmas.
This musical is fit for all ages. One of the highlights will be the performance of 56 talented children that will remind us that the joy of Christmas is for everyone to experience. Join us for a wonderful evening of music, dance, and drama and a message of hope! Interpretation into Chinese, Tamil and Bahasa Malaysia will be provided simultaneously.
In conjunction with the musical, there will be a Christmas Bazaar with food and beverage held on that weekend of 10th to 11th December at the Calvary Convention Centre, Bukit Jalil Kuala Lumpur.
