Among the nine manufacturing locations, our KPI has always been one of the best but in January 2024, we made a great leap in our productivity and in addition to now being the benchmark for the other locations, we are also the training hub for other sites. This higher productivity enabled us not just to produce more but within fewer working days. We are now able to have two weekends off every month, as compared to working almost daily up till 2023. All this has been made possible because of the Lord's blessing, guidance and wisdom upon me.

In early 2024, my wife Felisa(who is involved in the Bahasa Ministry), highlighted to me that God put me in a position where I was able to care for the physical welfare of my employees and that I should also look at their spiritual welfare - the few remaining years of my employment before I retire would be a good time to help them in their spiritual journey. Thus began the Nilai BM Fellowship in May 2024 for my East Malaysian employees and their families, many of whom are non-believers or nominal Christians.

We started out renting a room in a factory in Nilai and when my Director, a non-believer heard about this, she said, "I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work you are doing in offering spiritual support to our team. Your dedication and compassion have not gone unnoticed and I sincerely hope that the efforts of both of you will make a positive impact on everyone involved. If there is anything I can do to support or assist you in this important work, please don't hesitate to let me know. I genuinely appreciate the time and energy you are putting into helping others to navigate their spiritual journeys. My first step will be letting you have the production floor to save on rental costs. Thank you and may God bless you both always."

We meet about twice a month where Bible lessons are shared separately for adults and children. There is also a weekly sharing of Gospel songs and Life group lessons via WhatsApp. Initially starting with just two families, today we have close to 40 with full attendance. On 14 December 2024, 10 of my employees and their spouses took the step of faith in water baptism.

I am grateful to be able to serve together with my wife and the church in this worthwhile endeavour. I know this is only the beginning of what God wants to do, not only for these workers but for the many other East Malaysians in Nilai.
