In early September, Calvary Church responded to a request from a Myanmar Church for food aid for migrant workers who had lost jobs resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The project was co-organised by Calvary Missions, Calvary Youth and Young Adults. Below are testimonies from some of the Calvarites who participated:

I want to praise God for this opportunity and thank Him for using the church to bless the needy. It reminded me that God always takes care of us through different means and taught me to be grateful and appreciative of what God has blessed me with. I am encouraged. May God continue to use us to reach out and expand the kingdom of God. Amen! - Joshua Cheah

I am so thankful for the opportunity to help. I thank God for the good weather and safe journey! I also felt so happy and blessed to see the kids were happy for the offerings. - Venistri Jeyaraman

This has reminded me of God’s faithfulness and love upon those in need. He meets the needs of those who put their trust in Him and will not forsake them. Words cannot describe the joy and expression of gratitude shown on the faces of the recipients. - Chin Ben Jin

Thank God, I had this opportunity to serve the Lord and the community. I was encouraged by the many young adults and youth who gladly volunteered to serve. - Isabelle Wong
