Jesus Christ died and rose again out of his amazing love for us. If he called your name, how would you respond? This question was asked by this year's Easter presentation, He Called My Name, held from Friday, 18 April to Sunday, 20 April 2025 at the Calvary Convention Centre.

Presented by Pastor Richard Yun and the dedicated team from Music and Creative Arts, the production offered a fresh and deeply moving perspective by focusing on the personal accounts of three key figures: Peter, Thomas and John. Through their journeys, the audience was led to witness not only the life and ministry of Jesus Christ but also the transformative power of His love upon those who walked closely with Him.

The most memorable moment of the presentation was the depiction of Jesus walking on water. A thrilling opening scene where Jesus called Peter to step out of the boat and walk towards Him amidst the raging storm. Utilising state-of-the-art LED screens and immersive stage technology, the creative team transported the audience into Peter's perspective.

Waves seemed to crash around them, winds howled through the hall and the atmosphere was charged with tension and awe. Through this remarkable theatrical experience, spectators were drawn into the raw emotions of fear and hope that Peter himself must have felt as he fixed his eyes on Jesus.

Pastor Richard delivered a powerful and resonant message. He expounded upon the symbolic significance of Jesus' call to Peter amidst the storm, relating it to the broader spiritual reality that Jesus continues to call out to each of us today, no matter where we are in life.

Pastor Richard reminded the congregation that Christ does not focus on our past sins, mistakes or failures; rather, He calls each of us by name, inviting us to step out in faith, even when storms surround us. He gave the congregation a time to respond at the altar, telling them Jesus asks us to "Come home."

The Easter presentation He Called My Name was more than a musical about Jesus' life, but a divine message with our names in it. It underscored the eternal truth that Jesus' love is deeply personal and that His call transcends time, reaching out to every heart willing to listen. It concluded on a note of hope, restoration and triumph, celebrating that Christ is risen and we can have a relationship with Him if we answer his call.

A total of 7,208 people attended all three presentations. We thank God and rejoice for the 81 hearts who received Christ as their Lord and Saviour and the 61 people who rededicated their lives to Him.
