Themed “Stronger Together”, Camporama 2025, held from 2 – 5 April 2025 brought together over 700 Royal Rangers from churches all over Malaysia. Held once every four years, this unique event united a diverse group of individuals in an unforgettable experience centred on faith, fellowship, and adventure. Calvary Church’s outpost, KL1, sent a contingent comprising 100 Rangers and Commanders.

Camporama 2025 revolved around five countries – Indonesia, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, and New Zealand. KL1 had the honour of representing Indonesia, and they went all out to bring the country’s rich culture to life. KL1 created stunning monuments and volcanoes, traditional batiks, and engaged attendees in classic Indonesian games like gasing and ketupat folding. KL1’s campsite also featured Indonesian food and dance, giving everyone a taste of the country's vibrant traditions. These activities provided a chance for everyone to learn about Indonesia's culture in a fun and hands-on way.

Throughout Camporama, Intercity Games brought out the spirit of friendly competition, with Rangers taking part in different challenges that encouraged teamwork. DIY Rafting was one of the most exciting activities, where each represented country built their own raft and raced on the water. Despite it being a competition, it was amazing to see Rangers from all over the campgrounds cheering each other on.

Day 3 dawned on a fashion show as everyone dressed in traditional attire from their respective represented countries. Judges came around to each camp site to evaluate the food, decorations, and performances. KL1 proudly showcased Indonesian culture through games, dances and of course, food! Foods offered included Indomie, soto bakso, bubur sago, agar-agar and marjan melon drink—delicious, authentic Indonesian dishes that were well-loved by everyone.

A notable part of Camporama was the powerful rallies held at night, where many campers experienced deep spiritual moments and were touched by the Holy Spirit. These rallies made a huge impact, and many left the camp feeling more connected to their faith and thankful for the experience. It was a time for reflection and personal growth.

On the final day, it was time to say goodbye to fellow Rangers and Commanders, with everyone hoping to see each other again at the next camp or event. Many campers expressed that Camporama had gone by too quickly and wished they had more time to enjoy the fun, fellowship, and of course, spiritual moments. The night rallies were something many would never forget.

Camporama 2025 was not just about having fun, it was about growing spiritually, making new friends, and connecting with a larger community. By the end of the camp, everyone walked away with a deeper faith, stronger bonds of friendship (and new friendships too!), and an appreciation for the global Royal Rangers family. It was a reminder of the power of unity, service, and faith.
